I've founded a Sanford, FL Meet Up for Vampires, both sanguine and psychic; vampiric otherkin; donors; and members of the Shadowlore Board. Our next meet up is Friday, May 2. There is a badge with a link in the interests section on this page.

The podcast I'm participating in with Magus Dethen (also in my Friends list, below) is under way; first recordings have been made. We are in the process of setting up the website and corporate structure, and we are already posting content to the website. (www.croneseraphim.com). Once the first episode is up we will be podcasting monthly and uploading on the date of the New Moon. "Dark of the Moon Cronecast" will be a Liberal and a Libertarian discussing pagan views of politics and constitutional liberties. The Thelema Meet Up my friend Sherri recently started (she is also in my Friends list, below) is proving to be extremely interesting and educational. I am currently scheduled to receive my elekes (a Lucumi initiation) from Ocha'ni Lele at the end of May, and my Warriors (the second initiation) by the end of this year. I'm very excited about this next step in my education and spiritual path, and my padrino is a fabulous teacher (you can find him through my Friends page, below, as well).

In October Magus and I and several other members of the Orlando Harry Potter Club will be attending "Wrock the Boat," a fan cruise leaving from New Orleans for the Caribbean (see my Friends page for links to the Club, his Wizard Rock Band "House of Black," and the Cruise).

Bio:

In 1999 I moved to Florida from New York City (Massachusetts and New Hampshire before that), and have been studying metaphysical subjects my entire life. I have been involved with the local Wiccan community in central Florida as a member of the Ladies' Tea Circle, WRCF, Church of Anubis, All World Acres and as a founding member of Kim Wade's Church of the Old Path. I am primarily a solitary practitioner, but I have served as High Priestess at initiations and several public and private rituals.

On March 7, 2007 I was the Wiccan panelist at an ACLU-sponsored forum on religious freedom at Embry Riddle University.

I am the author of "On the Care and Feeding of Spirits" and "The Patriot’s Spell Book," the latter of which can be downloaded for free at www.croneseraphim.com in the literature section. I founded and run Persephone’s Haven, a business that serves Goths, Pagans, and all others who walk between worlds and need a safe place to be themselves. I have taught courses and workshops at the Florida Pagan Gathering, the Goddess Faire, the Sage Center, the Blue Lotus Center, Dragonspyre, All World Acres, Avalon, The Witching Hour (2005’s Harry Potter Symposium held in Salem, MA) and Phoenix Rising (2007's Harry Potter Symposium held in New Orleans).

I am the founder and moderator of Snape's Grove, a Yahoo discussion group for wiccan and pagan fans of Severus Snape (go Slytherin!) and the Gypsy Dancer's Caravan, a Yahoo discussion group for gypsy and other related dancers, teachers etc. to network locally and communicate globally. In the fall of 2007 I performed at the Gypsy Heritage Festival held at Osceola Heritage Park and in the spring of 2008 I performed at the opening of Little Fish Huge Pond in Sanford (hopefully the video footage will be uploaded to You Tube soon; I'm waiting on getting the right video editing program for my computer and being shown how to use it).

In 2003 I was crowned Goth Princess of Orlando (silly, goofy grin). I have a Bachelor's degree in Music, Theatre and the Honors program from Hunter College, CUNY, (with a minor in Classical Studies) and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from Rollins College as well.
