me? im lennard. a drum n bass kid from holland who likes some sports, music and lifestyle. always been a music lover. blew up my first set of speakers when I was around 10 years old. back then I played with old speakers and amps. to try n build a soundsystem. I also started to get a huge amount of love for music. it was always around me but i never played any instruments. And my first gig was during my time on the primary school. disco at the end of the year haha. just for my class thou. and sometimes at home with my friends. with a mixer without eq and normal cdplayers.. pretty cheesy :P. I listened alot to britpop, and some other rockbands from the 60's/70's and 80's. when i got a bit older i started to like other music. this was a new kind of thing called drum n bass. i listened it on mixtapes which i got from a friend of mine. and around 1998 I started visiting small partys here in nijmegen where i saw some great djs preforming and found my place in the music. later, around end 2002 start 2003 i began with experimenting with music and made own videos and visuals. after that around 2004 i started of as a Vj uder the name Vj Lenny-P and preformed at a lot of places. ant the end of 2004 i bought 2 turntables and a compact mixer. and well.. I became addicted to mixing music. 2006 I became resident Dj @ Contrasts drum n bass parties in bergen op zoom (nl). i used my VJ name and lost "P" so Lenny is my dj name. now im expending my gigs to spin. from small illigal homeparty to big parties in great venue's. now im mixing more kindes of music. mostly drum n bass, but also alternative music, dub and reggae but also Goa trance, tekno and balkan beats If you wanna watch me watch the dj mix! edited by Visual Drugs
