About me: MoRpH (aka Grant Muir) has been a predominant figure on the Australian (and international) VJ scene for over 10 years. His visuals never fail too prove innovative and creative with his blending of old and new technologies, stunning graphics and amazing live footage. His unique performance video style has seen him working with a HUGE list of international Djs of all genres (Luke Slater, Eric Morillo, Carl Cox, LTJ Bukem, DJ craze, Sasha & Digweed and many, many more) and at festivals all over Australia & the world. Unlike other VJs, MoRpH has an energetic stage presence that is reflected in his mixing, blending performance with creation in a flurry of motion.
Having toured UK and Europe in early '06, mid '08 & '09, to rave reviews from europe's best DJs, VJs and Live acts, an '10 Asian excursion coming up and plans in the works for a return to Europe for major festival dates (May/June '10), Morph is truely at the top of international VJing circles.
Morph has been touring Australia with one of OZ's leading live electronic acts INFUSION as their live VJ featuring all live content by John Warwicker & Julian Bryant (Ex Tomato). Also After years of collaboration with Ant Banister (Nanotech/Clan Analogue), Morph has joined Ant's latest musical venture, Lunar Module as a permanent member primarily VJing but soon combining it with live Bass
MoRpH is currently expanding his video projects and is looking to collaborate with other artist. He is also offering a package to film live bands in and around sydney with a view to them being released as live video clips or DVD. He also hopes this will help document the vibrant sydney band scene.
Hello!!! It's been awhile - sorry there hasn't been in any Australian shows for many months but we've been busy in Europe with a bunch of touring and we're now recording our new album in Berlin (scheduled for release in March). But to make up for it, here's a big (and silly) Merry Christmas from us (and from some hippos too) :
Some bold new artistic direction? Nah, Just us being silly!!! We did this track for our label's "Black Snow - the completely different Xmas compilation". (and of course, visit our youtube channel for a high quality version)
Wishing you a very silly Silly Season and we'll see you back in Australia sometime in 2010!
