Alex Zanini, classe 1982, conosciuto nel clubbing come vj Strong, vive e lavora a Bologna. Da una spiccata propensione alla fruizione cinematografica, reiterata fino all'ossessione, ha imparato il linguaggio dei film. Riprese e montaggio sono ora il suo esercizio quotidiano. Con un'attrezzatura minima, ma di qualità, riesce a soddisfare le esigenze di diverse committenze. Attualmente sta realizzando i videoclip di Hard Ton e il video-documentario del Bologna Pride 2008, di cui ha curato anche tutte le riprese. Con il Cassero - gay lesbian center ha collaborato a numerosi progetti tra i quali The Italian Miss Alternative, Gender Bender, HomoBeat. E sempre al Cassero ha seguito, per un intero anno, la regia dello spettacolo multimediale "Gaywatch". E' possibile seguire le sue performance da veejay dai dancefloor del Cassero (hqh), del Kindergarten (playhouse), del TPO (altavoz), del Link, del Kinki e del GoldStar di Ferrara. Sta seguendo un corso di fotografia digitale con Ettore Bianciardi. E mette a disposizione di chi ne fa richiesta le sue conoscenze informatiche, soprattutto in ambiente Mac.
