hi. sorry for the spam, but this should be pretty good!
SUSPECT PARTS - their gig in Reading earlier this year was one of the most fun local gigs i've been to in a while. Ex-members of the Clorox Girls and the Briefs, Suspect Parts are one Englishman and three displaced Americans from London / Berlin. They play up-tempo garage punk with a power-pop edge. For fans of the Killed by Death compilations and the Dirtnap Records output. http://www.myspace.com/suspectparts
BLACK TIME - mongo trash-punk from London on the prestigous In The Red label. Blown out and gross like the Electric Eels or Crime, but with Link Wray-style licks thrown in for good measure. This is to be their last UK gig of 2009 before they embark on their West coast USA tour. http://www.myspace.com/blacktimemutant77
JEALOUS AGAIN - local(ish) no-fat garage punk combo. For fans of 90's garage a la Fall-outs, Mummies, New Bomb Turks etc. Cool shit. http://www.myspace.com/jealousagainband
