About me:
Always hard to write an "about me" section without seeming either vapid or big headed. I'm a 22 year old graduate, living in the city centre of Glasgow, Scotland, having finally finished my degree in mid-2005. Working as a technologist for a BigCo at the moment; it's interesting, especially since I'm doing stuff way outside of my uni course. I'm a drummer and though I have little interest in joining another band, I'm enjoying playing with quite a few different people at the moment: everything from loose funk, to hair metal, to tight-as-nails dynamic-shifting modern rock, with some blues thrown in for good measure.
I enjoy writing, though don't do it as much as I would like. Got a few ideas for novels, and one in the pre-planning stages, but in all likelihood it'll be a long time before anything sees the light of day.
Cinema is a major interest. I try to go at least once a week, meaning I see some absolute dirge as well as most of the classics (cult and otherwise) the way they were intended to be watched.
Living in Glasgow means that I'm very close to two fine traditions of the city: music (so many great live bands playing nearby) and drinking (so many pubs, so little time).
