"VLE has officially signed to DEEPSEND RECORDS for the release of their new album entitled "The Golden Wind". Tracking for the effort will take place at the artist's home for a release in early 2008. The label will also re-release their critically acclaimed 'Book of Illusions: Chapters I, II, III' together as a double disc sometime in late 2008. New release will once again feature the stunning artwork of former Disney Feature Animation Artist, Chistophe Vacher."
VLE... a solo project based in New York City, USA which started in July 2001. Inspired by ocean sunsets, darkness and silence... VLE has created improvised expressive minimalist soundscapes that serve to evoke different emotions. VLE is a journey through timeless motifs and cosmic spheres of existence. The sound of VLE is raw and emotional as all pieces were constructed without use of programming or traditional composition style. The music of VLE is very eclectic as each piece represents the different moods we all experience in this life. This is music from the soul... music erected from the subconscious. Hey bro,today being sunday thought I'd let you in on a little ritual that goes on around here every sunday.I know most folks in this country go to church on this morn, but I ain't the churchie type.Sorry peeps,Nothin'against you if thats your thing!Anyway,I put both of my VLE cd's in the stereo,if if they aren't already in there,then put in Windirs Soknardalr cd and Arntor, Ein Windir and hit the shuffle button. Then all you have to do is turn it waaaaay the f**k up!!!That is how I must start every sunday at my house.And that is no bullshit.It is 8:33 am right now and stark is pLaying as I type.FABULOSO!!!! By the way the wife is a big fan now as well.She is not warming up quite as fast to Windir,but give it time!I mean,until she met me her idea of heavy metal was billy squier!!!!Funny isn't it??!!I forgive her.Have a good one my brother.And take care.

Absolutely I am, but more in a broad music sense rather than metal. I've been having somewhat of a departure from listening to metal for a few months to be honest, having a holiday from it I suppose. It's nice to stop and investigate what I've been missing out on for the last while.
I also dislocated my kneecap for the second time and am having some complications with the tendons and muscles in my leg now, so preparing for surgery to reconstruct my knee. I've got a ridiculous amount of time for sitting around drawing and playing videogames and listening to music. Crippled lifestyle is actually quite nice. Anyways how's life for the VLE?
