About me: VLounge Atlanta, in collaboration with The After Radio Love™ Campaign (ARL), is pleased to introduce you to an exciting new personal improvement concept and grassroots service initiative called VÛRB.
This project utilizes spoken word, music and arts entertainment as resources to increase awareness for Georgia’s push for literacy and collect books to benefit various reading programs including the Atlanta-Fulton County Library System and Hands On Atlanta and the communities they serve.
VLounge Atlanta is a safe space created by a local spoken word movement to rally communities of authors together in order to foster creative expression leading to personal, social and spiritual change.
This program exists to provide encouragement, uplifting entertainment, and foster spiritual empowerment by promoting alternative outlets for personal expression and development.
We do not promote alcohol at our events due to our collaboration with family-friendly organizations and our support of community programs geared toward the education and enlightenment of both adults and youth.
We do not censor artists that perform but profanity is also not permitted at our events. All ages are welcome; but some material includes very mature subject matter such as violence, abuse, and intimate love so only ages 16 and older are encouraged to attend.
Our second quarter literacy drive and music event will take place on Friday,June 12, 2009 at 10pm.

So, it’s the second half, there are probably some goals that you need to re-FOCUS on. Plus we've all had some stuff to kind of discourage us a bit. So, look, I call my service an "Awakening Consciousness Service" because that is what we need often...to be Awakened to our original goals, dreams and purpose. My message this Sunday? Here's some truth I really want you to think about; YOU are a perfect spiritual soul. You have been sent to the earth experience to express the Divine that is within you. Don’t allow those illusions to dictate to you how you feel about yourself and to you from accomplishing you dreams! You are Divinity in human form...yes you are. Nothing can disturb the calm peace of your soul when you KNOW you are MASTERY, AUTHORITY & DOMINION! So I want you to bring your mind back to the TRUTH; and that truth is; You and God are ONE. Nothing can harm you when YOU decide to be the Master you are! Within you is the ability to make, master, do, produce and accomplish all things. Get quiet, go within and bring forth those gifts so that you may do the true work of YOUR Heart & Spirit. I count it a pure joy and am humbled to share this spiritual truth with you.
