   About VOCAB (THE REAL VOCAB)

Vocab wrote his first rhyme at the age of 12. He began to build his skills and confidence in mic control by freestyling at lunchtime, school dances, youth center functions, cyphers, basically anywhere people would listen. He made "rap tapes" at small bedroom studios that he would circulate among friends and peers. Always about the love and spread of hip-hop, Vocab often shared the four principles of such even as a student of the culture by teaching the arts. Going by the name "Alias-1", many a cypher began to be blessed. A member of crews such as "The H.B.O. Crew" (homeboys only crew), and "Bum Rush Productions", as well as "The Fourth Dimension Squadron" early in his growth. Spawned as a vicious battle rapper, Vocab frequently sparred with Blast-T (R.I.P) a fellow B.R.P member hailing from Brooklyn notorious for his flawless lyrical arsenal. Vocab grew into a fearless lyricist, and having battled whole crews at times began to make a name for himself. Many m.c.'s have met their fate in going to battle opposite this soldier. As time went on, Vocab developed into a well rounded no nonsense m.c. travelling everywhere from Houston to Holland and in between. The Maryland native has paid dues with blood, sweat, and tears to become an evolution of the very meaning, "master of ceremonies". As the head of a 90's crew called "The Fourth Dimension Squadron", Vocab continued to generate hip-hop music for those thirsting. Having released several underground compositions over the years (all unsigned productions) , Vocab has resisted the oppression of the music industry. Never the one to give up, the m.c./producer/ceo started his own label to release his music. Using the knowledge of the business acquired through experience and paying attention, "NUCLEAR MELODY RECORDS" was born. Lurking in the shadows of hip-hop, Vocab has been here the whole time watching and waiting. Now that all appears to have been said in hip-hop music, it is time to reveal the truth to the world. Not the cliche' "next level", but the actual manifestation of such. WELCOME TO THE 4TH DIMENSION. Though much has been left out of this bio, the basic sense of who Vocab is has been made apparent. Many try to claim the name but, there is only one real Vocab. That is why you see (Vocab the REAL Vocab) on the page instead of just "VOCAB". Long live Hip-Hop.... One love.... Peace. First time for me also. I was always into world affairs but never really a political person. I figured like everyone else what do it matta, they just gona do what they want anyway. But Obama inspires me and somehow I have inspired other ppl by puttin them on to him. Hope is a beautiful thing - we will see.
