JR (and everyone)... Just one last one for today, my apologies. I've been listening/watching a lot of music from my youth today, remembering the turmoil and times in our country in those days...but also my youth and the love I felt. This song brings chills, goosebumps and yes, tears. JR, if not my previous suggestion, then surely...this one.
The hubby & I were watching a Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame show on HBO last night and the famous duo who made this song back in the day performed it live and I was just blown away. Even in what I'm guessing is their 60s by now, they sound so marvelous! I couldn't find the youtube video of that particular show, this is only audio of Art Garfunkel performing this solo. JR...if ever there was a perfect cover song suggestion for you, I think this is it...would be so incredible done by you...
