Just me. I write all of my own music, lyrics, and play all of my own instruments. And, I'm trying my best to work on the whole mastering thing with effects and all that but it's still kinda new to me...I've been writing/playing music just as a hobby for several years now, and it's a slow process but I hope to keep it up and add new and different things to my page when time/spirit/inspiration allows- hope you'll keep in touch, I appreciate it- believe me. :-)
Oh and I've included the lyrics to a couple of my songs- they're in my blog so check them out if you're so inclined.
Influences
Loud, unabashed, innovative and interesting rock and roll; a mere description to some, a revered beauty to me. Bands like Led Zeppelin, Devo, Gary Numan and Celtic Frost (to name only a few) have offered me all that and more, and the level of intensity within those bands is rivaled only by the degree of uniqueness they each use as a means to deliver that intensity. The aforementioned bands are a few of my all-time favorites, and can therefore be considered a good summation of my musical influences, and any additional name dropping might be superfluous and distracting. However, it is imperative that I mention Juliana Hatfield, P.J. Harvey, and Christina Amphlett (The Divinyls) because I consider them my INSPIRATION- those artists are all badass females who weren't afraid to be brazen, intense and original, and thus inspired me to create tangible representations of my own passion for music, and my songs on this page are only several of many. Unfortunately, neither my influences or inspirations can make me patient enough to perfect and polish my songs, but what I lack in patience I make up for in heart and hope- and the guts to not care if either are recognized by anyone but me.

I know that most of my songs on here are not recorded all that well. But I'm proud to say that I write, play and sing my own music and, if nothing else, I'm hoping that this page is fun and interesting and that you enjoy what I'm sharing...My stuff is all over the place as far as genre. Hearing drums/beats in my music only happens here and there. I only decided to refer to my music as "psychedelic" after I found out how to totally overdo some certain effects on my free recording program, Audacity, which I only somewhat recently discovered, and am still trying to figure out! For the most part, the only way I've been able to record my work has been thru a boom box (an old Sanyo from around 1987- god bless it for still working!), and it's a fluke that I even figured out the process of recording tracks on there and getting them on my computer....yeah, I'm lo-fi. And I'm doing the best I can to incorporate technology here and there- I recently learned how to download and use drumbeats! So some of the songs may be a teensy bit more complex- just a teensy bit tho! ;-) Still, the songs are pretty raw and rudimentary, often 'works in progress' but I hope the poor recording will be embraced by some of you as a refreshing departure from the typical polished clarity...maybe??? ;)
If you are still reading this, you rock. I know a lot of people won't last more than 10 seconds on this page after hearing the sometimes garagey sound of my songs, so if you were interested enough to listen as well as read about me I thank you for being openminded. I know my guitar playing is sloppy because I'm too impatient of a person to ever practice playing, and my singing is equally as unpolished, and many of my songs do not have an appropriate ending. I say this unabashedly, though, not shamefully. I can't help but be proud of having created tangible representations of my heart, my soul, and my inspiration- my original songs.
Writing about myself and the meaning of my songs seems arrogant and self-righteous,but I also feel it is important to share with you what I do, and what I'm all about, so I hope you take the words above as a humble offering- that's all. I'm really not so serious or annoying (in that way, at least) in real life, and quite frankly, though right now my goal is to sound heavy, I also kinda wish I were able to write silly, fun songs. Isn't in me, though- dammit! Kinda like practicing....
