About me: We are the original and only specialist body piercing studio in Darwin, Northern Territory, and have been here since August of 2000, and under current management since July of 2004. Vogue Body Piercing exceeds current NT Department of Health Skin Penetration Standards, and we are the only piercing studio in the Northern Territory that adheres to the Australian Sterilization Standard.

Your safety and well-being is our main priority. All body jewellery and instruments used are autoclaved prior to insertion. We have an ultrasonic cleaner, a hospital-grade Hydrim instrument washer and two autoclaves on the premises, all of which are serviced regularly and spore tested weekly by an independent laboratory. All needles are single use. All body jewellery is thoroughly inspected before being sterilized, and we only use the highest quality internally threaded implant-grade metals - surgical stainless steel (316LVM), titanium (Ti 6AL Eli), niobium and 18ct solid gold - obtained from the finest body jewellery manufacturers in the world. We constantly strive to improve our practices in regards to piercing techniques and procedures, aftercare, sterilization and prevention of cross contamination.
Our "standard" jewellery option is the best body jewellery money can buy. Mirror-polished implant grade metals, guaranteed lead-free gems with lifetime settings, no solders whatsoever - your piercings will heal faster and your body will thank you! Our customers are worth the best!
Our staff are experienced professionals, trained through extensive apprenticeships, not week-long "Ezy" courses! We take our jobs very seriously and are committed to producing high-quality work on happy, satisfied customers, and our excellent reputation speaks for itself. We're happy to discuss your existing piercing with you, as well as answer any questions you might have about future procedures. Our senior piercer Lori is extensively experienced in all aspects of body piercing (everything from lobes and eyebrows to genital projects), and she also offers services such as scarification, punch and taper method surface piercing, large gauge dermal and cartilage punching, lobe scalpelling, genital beading and new techniques such as dermal anchors.

A quick question: I'm getting my tongue pierced soon and I know your given a bigger stud at first to accomodate the swelling and you can downsize it in a few weeks, though can you put a designed stud in at first? There's a cute black one with the Anarchy symbol I'm eyeing that I'd like to have. Or would I need to put a plain silver one in at first?
