Hi Everybody:) I'm a 31 y/o guy from Wichita (Kansas) USA and am very much into news/current affairs and like to be well informed. For fun, I like to hang out at local coffee shops or book stores reading and drinking something cold/hot depending on the weather. I'm not into clubbing...too many drunks acting goofy, LOL. My close friends would describe me as an honest, loyal and loving person, who cares a great deal about his family, friends and others...but what do they know :)
O say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States of America with lyrics written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key. Key, a 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet, wrote them as a poem after seeing the bombardment of Fort McHenry in Baltimore (Maryland) by British ships in Chesapeake Bay during the War of 1812.
