About me:

..

Hi Everybody:) I'm a 31 y/o guy from Wichita (Kansas) USA and am very much into news/current affairs and like to be well informed. For fun, I like to hang out at local coffee shops or book stores reading and drinking something cold/hot depending on the weather. I'm not into clubbing...too many drunks acting goofy, LOL. My close friends would describe me as an honest, loyal and loving person, who cares a great deal about his family, friends and others...but what do they know :)

THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER

O say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States of America with lyrics written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key. Key, a 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet, wrote them as a poem after seeing the bombardment of Fort McHenry in Baltimore (Maryland) by British ships in Chesapeake Bay during the War of 1812.

    SCHOOL TIME AGAIN

    Education and intelligence are things to be prized: they uplift the human race. And even when you're over 18, you can swing with new schoolmates on the playground.

    Thanks for adding me! And if the movie SICKO makes you sick about our current healthcare system, please check out the non profit working to bring health coverage to ALL in California and spread the word about SB 84o. Single Payer the only real solution to the health care crisis and California can pave the way for the rest of the country. Check out their blog and get all the info.

    We especially need those in California to sign the petition and help out any way they can. MICHAEL MOORE IS SPEAKING FOR THIS GROUP!!

    Support this bill... even if you are from out of state... help us win it for California, and watch the movement spread.
