Bio
VoiceQuad is an 'a cappella' vocal group based in the North East and in spite of the name, they form a quintet! VoiceQuad members met through various musical projects including Folkworks Advanced Vocal Skills, and the Heaton Voices community choir. Back in October 2005 they decided to form a small close harmony ensemble and they now perform a wide repertoire of vocal material that is a clear reflection of their diverse backgrounds and musical interests, ranging from swing numbers from the '40s, to folk and contemporary songs. Most of the pieces are arranged by VoiceQuad members and several numbers include vocal percussion .... with the amazing blend of VoiceQuad voices, the result is exciting, eclectic, and easy on the ear. -
Members
Mick Danby, Teresa Driscoll, Gill Hubbold, Helen Blades, John McNulty. Former members and special guests include Maria Fernandez-Toro, Claudia Simm, and Mariano Otheguy. -
