VoID CoNSTRUCT's debut album, Estramay Aleph was on Cryonica and came out in 2001. The follow up, Sensory Divion, also released on Cryonica, was released in 2002. Currently enjoying a sabbatical, Scott and Vicky will provide the soundtrack to a documentary about refugees due for completion in 2007. Will the 3rd album ever be released? Who knows.........
Come and join SPC ECO at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town, on December the 3rd, and celebrate the release of their first 7" vinyl featuring the tracks 'You're Alright' and 'Another Day' through Club AC30. Rose, Dean and Harry will be joined on stage by ex Curve members Debbie Smith (Guitar) and Steve Monti (Drums). Also playing are the fantastic Black Holes. This promises to be one hell of a night so try and get there if you can. Check my blog or the forums for ticket links and more info. Pre-order the single and look at the art work here http://www.clubac30.com
VC is the reason I got into electronic music, the reason why I continue to fiddle around with sequencers, and a defining group for a genre. "Estramay Aleph" consistently maintains a top 3 position on my ever-changing Top 10 Albums of All Time. While I hold out hope for further release, the two entries so far continue to amaze me. Thanks for the music, memories, and emotion.
I'm super glad there's going to at least be SOME new VC in 2007 (and Vicky, I want to see your documentary when it's completed!). I'm going to not-so-secretly hope it leads to a 3rd album.
Bring back the VC! It was kicking just about everything else's ass ;)
Aw, thank you so much for approving my request - and for being here! Mind you, we just were discussing where VC has disappeared!
I'm almost fan of VoID CoNSTRUCT since the first time I happened to hear 'Estramay Aleph'!
