A progressive duo bringing you emotionally influenced lyrics, acoustic guitars and electronic beats. Coming from different backgrounds and influences, the members join forces to integrate cultures, sounds and languages into powerful music.
On a beautiful summer day, Cyn began to feel her feet tapping to the rhythm of an electric guitar riff. Curious to find out who was sending the riff, she followed it and let out a sweet and spicy melody in tune with the groove. Rick heard the melody in response to his riff and became interested in finding that voice. With music in their hearts, the sparks began running through their veins; thus Volatil was born...
Through Volatil, Cyn and Rick will continue their fusion of electro-acoustic pop, flamenco rock, and RnB to connect the audience with true emotions...
Fellow musicians visited the VolatilAdventure leaving Cyn and Rick with many great memories. There was the Dallas Festival where they opened up for Regional Mexican Star, Ninel Conde. Austin became Volatil's second home where they participated in a number of SXSW showcases among other festivals. In Home Sweet Houston, there were adventures at the Miller Outdoor Theater, FoxRox on TV, Latin Grammy Viewing Party, Musica Fresca Festival, LatiNation Tour, and the adventure keeps growing!

Get ready for the next VolatilAdventure...On Sunday, September 28, we will have two (2) special performances during St. Joseph's Annual Bazaar. Festival begins at 12 noon, Cyn and Rick take the stage at 1:00p, followed by Volatil at 2:00p.
