Me and Tim have been bessies since time began in old New Brighton. We first collaborated in the early '80s using his dads organ and one of those rectangular cassette recorders that only people of a certain age remember. Further collaborations with home brew wine, women, song, paper rounds, homework, broken arms, and football followed over the years. After him and Duffy threw me out of their jazzzzzz fusion band 15 years earlier for not being able to play in time and after the Wigs and the Boos had gone their ways I persuaded him to get together and record some tracks for me. Me old mate, Beano, is on main vocals. Me and Tim throw our oar in as the backing vocals. He still still thinks I'm useless by the way, and I still think he's still too f--in fussy. Beano is now living in the bush (or in a bush) in NZ. Favourite quote from him "I've just found a plastic bag with a load of tablets in outside in the street" I told him not to take them.......still love him to bits and he does the best version of bowies "quicksand" I ever heard. Anyway I hope these tracks melt yer head. Check out Mike's trashy "one drunk and his 10p acoustic" tapes at www.myspace.com/corkyisheredemos. These are first take to dictaphone atrocities.
