VoLk has existed since 2003, first as a solo project with aims to construct something new, based off of metal
and a heavy dose of experimentation. VoLk is a Avante Garde attempt at music. Something that is one of a kind, not trend following to the nth degree. The Zombie image is utilized as its philosophical idealogy which will be fleshed out through the lyrics.
In 2007 VoLk was joined by Count Dead Lee on drums and Doom on bass.
A few months transpired, new material was forged and the band saw itself seeking a bass player once again,
Doom had left the ranks leaving the band defunct. Count Dead Lee and Volk
continued to wrestle with finding the right pieces. 2008 was a period of silence for the band musically
but the two shortly started doing their own shows as promoters, working with bands of varied genres.
2009 finds the duo set on cotinuing the struggle to bring the noise to all who are within earshot. Welcome To The Rotting Mass!!

and intended as a gateway to freedom, "After Effect Rejects" was soon shelved, but the grid people would not have it!! so to satiate
thur desire "AER" was re-released containing 3 new tracks. Primarily a dance album "AER" is devoid of bone crunching distortion and plants it's tendrils deep in the soil of brutish simplicity, making it the perfect soundtrack for space exploration, introspection and surfing for porn online.
2007: 5 Song Demo (OUT OF PRINT). I decided to make this available to all of you. My first attempt at the recording process as a whole. All music created and recorded as a solo project. Mastering and mixing also done by VoLk.
