About me: I'm 52 years old and was married to my sweetheart, he died on March 5, 2009 here at home. I moved to New Mexico in Jan.2002 and met my Steve later that year. He is the best guy I have ever met and treated me like a queen. We had been together for almost 7 years and been married since Feb. 20, 2007. I will miss him every day of my life and I will always love him. I know in my heart and soul that we will be together in heaven someday, he's waiting for me.
I have two grown kids; my son is almost 30 and has been in the Marines for 11 years. He is stationed in North Carolina now. He has one daughter, my beautiful granddaughter. I also have a daughter who is 27 and lives in Pennsylvania who I miss terribly.
I lived in Clovis when I first came to New Mexico and made some good friends there. I moved to Las Cruces,NM about a year later to be with Steve. Since moving to Las Cruces, I have gone back to school. I already earned one Associate's Degree in Business Office Technology with Accounting and have one last semester to get another Associate's Degree, this one in Library Science. The other thing that I have done since moving to New Mexico was getting my ham radio license. That was definitely the hardest thing I have done, but I do have my General license now. My call sign is KD5ZGY.

My dh loves green tomatoes too. We have a ton growing. I am really happy with our little garden, this is our first year and the kids and I are having a blast. We harvested a few today that were almost all red. Tomorrow we are going to have a nice salad. If you lived closer you could come over and get a few tomatoes.
