The Irish Folk Festival Volmarstein started in 2002 and takes place every two years.

Please note the Festival is organized by the IGVV.

The Festival is held in the Castle Ruins of Volmarstein, a small village in the middle of Germany. It is really a beautiful setting for a Festival. You can look down from the Ruins and watch the river Ruhr winding through the countryside.
