About Volvoe

Volvoe set out in 1999 as an experimenting duo that merged different styles and attitudes in order to deconstruct that times tones and trends. Since then, Volvoe has worked on establishing a somewhat more refined, personal and defining soul. But the urge to continually disrupt established musical dogma and the desire to juggle and experiment, remains the focal point of the bands musical universe. Three new members have been included in the band in the course of the last five years, and Volvoe is now a versatile power-pop/electro-rock-band. The members have very different ways of seeing and representing both world and music, which is why the tracks range from fast and catchy tunes to more grand and profound images of sound. Volvoe is a band that reflects upon modern society. Personal attitudes are filtered through an inspiring synergy, and the result is stories about choices, consequences, fast-pounding hearts, love, daydreaming, cold sweat and identity. Melodrama with a challenging touch and Volvoes attempt at creating a serious musical imprint in a more than complex world.

mushi	Sep 24 2008 3:51 PM Hej Ven Det er omsider blevet tid at holde releaseparty for Mushi's 3. album, End Of Faith. Pladen har efterhånden været længe undervejs, men det færdige resultat har det været sliddet og kampen værd (det synes jeg i hvert fald). Det skal fejres, så kom og vær med til at fejre udgivelsen. Der er gratis entré og graits øl så længe det nu varer. Køb den ny cd til kun 100,- en uge inden den udkommer i butikkerne og tag en lækker Mushi t-shirt med hjem.. Vi spiller en masse numre fra End Of Faith, så det skal nok blive en fest :) Tag alle dine venner med, også dem med høreskader - så højt spiller vi alligevel heller ikke.. Festen starter kl 20:00 og slutter, når vi bliver smidt ud.. Datoen er Tirsdag d. 14/10 - 2008 (det er midt i efterårsferien, så det er vel ok, at det er en tirsdag) Sted: Musikcafeén, Huset i Magstræde, Rådhusstræde 13, 1466 København K Glæder mig til at se jer allesammen :) /Mushi ..
