| About Victims Of Life (V.O.L) |
V.O.L started with Lead Guitarist Rockzilla, Orig. A hard rock band. This was not where his heart was, Rockzilla felt more could come of the music, so on he went through many of local musicians, Then came the first key in forming V.O.L in the form of Drummer Manimal, Continueing on the search but now with a drummer. Rockzilla and Manimal find local guitarist Nano, Shortly after Vocalist Chopper, Long time friend of Rockzilla, Is brought into the group, together they call opon an old friend in Chuck. Forming the band known as V.O.L, With music from grind to death metal, V.O.L is quickly becoming a force in the music scene, Pulling 2nd place in Gorilla Productions Battle of the bands in a close split decision vote. V.O.L being known for its massive music, and its badass Fans. Always being involved and ever growing.
So the time has come for you to jump in the pit with the phenom band V.O.L

2008 Mid-Year Update:
Well folks its been a half a year and here is what we have had going on
V.O.L first showed up in okc early 08 taking a 2day notice to play a show @ Bora Bora, Going from there to The Bricktown Ballroom w/Gorilla Productions Battle of the Bands, Pulling a second Place Split decision. On to Big Papas Pour House, if you have not been to this place for a live show you need too. Very nice venue and great work relations, bye far the best all around venue we have had the privalage to play in OKC. The inbetweens had shows in Lawton and our hometown of shawnee @ the upcoming venue Fusion Affect.
Where we have had the privalage of running our own shows. Thanks Fusion Crew. And now here we are July 2008.
In the short time of playing shawnee and some norman shows in 2007, being brought down by loosing 3 bass players in 2007, to playing a half a yr in the OKC area w/some top notch bands. V.O.L is on stage w/ Drowning Pool July 16 2008. A band that came from the nothing town of Shawnee OK, is now playing w/a major act.(Update..Due to DP management they pulled out of the show and Shawnee, with there money and not playing, Upsetting lots of fans, But Another Black Day, took over as the Headliner and the show went on Great. For this rising band)
V.O.L has burst into the Oklahoma Music scene showing intesity, drive, and heart to make it in this music world. All this done with only the advertising of 500 stickers through Shawnee and OKC, no shirts no buttons, no cards, no cd. All by word of mouth and the view of a band that one day will be a phenom in the national music scene.
So grab your friends, family, and enemys. For the time has come to brake the mold of the human mind, the time of the Victims.
