Volytion began with Melbourne drummer Joel, making the big move and relocating to the sleepy little city of Perth back in 2006. Having taken a step out of the well known and diverse music scene that Melbourne has to offer, he sat down with a guitar and began writing. With simple home recordings, comprising of guitar, drums, and vocal tracks, Joel began to develop and structure material back in early 2007.
Over the course of the next 18 months, a substantial amount of material was produced, ready to get a band together. After some months of searching, Paul was added as a Guitarist, and they began jamming on the material.
With a distinctive style and sound taking shape, and a dozen completed songs, the next step was to lay down a demo in a local studio.
The demo tracks are now up on our page. Since the completion of the demo, we now have Brad onboard as our Bassist. Gigs starting in May 2009.

Catch The Kidney Thieves at their last show for a while before recording their upcoming release, which is due early next year. The Kidney Thieves have had a massive year so far with a National Tour and are set to explode becoming by far one of Brisbanes best live bands.
