------------------------------------ | | Influences | We are obviously heavily influenced by bands such as Opeth, Akercocke, Drudkh, Enslaved, Megadeth, Mayhem, Windir, Dissection + Many More
As a band we don’t subscribe to any ideology that may be seen as a drive for our music other than our own personal artistic freedom to write about anything that we choose. There for Lyricly our influences can spread through a wide range of sources such as real-life situations, our own personal experiences, Nature, Beliefs and Faiths, Life and Death, and actions of everyday people aswell as world leaders and religious icons.

| About Vomicide |
Vomicide are a five piece metal band from the NorthEast of England
which formed in the early days of 2006. We're currently in the process of recording our first album and are looking to tour the UK shortly, either as a headline or support act. So if your a promoter from the Uk and would like to enquire about booking us for a show please feel free to do so via this myspace.
We have previously self-released two Demonstration discs, unfortunately both were recorded before the introduction of Keyboards, so the full sound can only be appreciated at our gigs or in our latest demonstration recording for "In The Temple Where I Beheld Her" which has only been released on the myspace as of yet, but will feature on our upcoming Album with a higher quality recording of the track.
We are also looking at the possibility of collaborating on a split cd with any band who feel their music would suit it, so feel welcome to message us if your interested.
‘’In an endless sea of repetitive metal all over Britain, Vomicide stand out as one of the most talented bands in the scene with their unique blend of Black Metal, Prog and Thrash. Watch this space, Vomicide have got nowhere to go but up’’ – AlternativeRadio UK
