Just ask. I'm a Master of the Discipline of Fickleness.
Music
I like to daydream about music that doesn't exist yet. I like some songs, and you know, other songs.
SEARCH HERE FOR VINYL!
I'll add websites to this search engine if you want me to. Where do you buy your vinyl?
Movies
Documentaries, offbeat/uncategorized movies, martial art based movies, historical, some sci-fi, anime, Happy Madison films, I like John Cusack, Kevin Spacey, Jack Black, blah blah blah...
Books
Mostly non-fiction, some historical fiction, instructional, biographies, memoirs, some poetry, books about music, occasionally some porn or top secret CIA documents.
Heroes
My son and daughter, for existing. I love them, and it comes naturally. It's the only thing I'm good at and I love it and it's the most important thing I could be good at and it just happens because they are each so amazing and they will always be amazing to me, no matter what.
About me: Goals:
Write a book or two, be a journalist for a while, make a few awesome and inspiring songs, jockey discs for dancers, loungers, writers, chess players and so on and so forth yada yada yada, travel the world for a while, volunteer at KUGS, sing a song with Lucky Brown, build a rock garden, continuously help people discover answers that they didn't realize they already had, practice my Hung Gar enough not to forget it, breakdance forever (it helps me pin-point my physical flaws), teach my children a self-sufficient lifestyle and save a piece of land for them before it's all degraded, survive doing what I love, learn how to make delectable bagels and steamed pork buns...
I am so thrilled by each of my art forms, which I consider responsibilities, that I am consistently distracted from one by another and seldom finish a task in less then a couple of months. I do, however, feel that the journey of mastery is the basis of accomplishment and I am aware that that journey will never end. If a kung fu "master" ceases daily practice, his physical vehicle will quickly regress to a less fit condition and his journey will become more difficult. Mastery is not a goal, it is a way of life. Perfection is a project that can never be finished. Attempting to become a master is like digging a hole in a bowl of water. My point is that my art forms are more like the the water than the bottom of the bowl. If I dig forever, the water will never settle. If the water never settles, I'll never see my reflection. If I don't see my reflection, what will I have left to perfect? Nothing. I will only experience everything else without even knowing that it is anything else.
Who I'd like to meet: Friends and teachers, people who are gurus of their own disciplines, whether invented or discovered. People who are on the journey of mastery of life and its wonders, who'd love to share their experiences, observations, discoveries, and uncertainties with another person.

For those who haven't heard, we'll be in the studio these next few months to record a new album with the renowned reggae singer, Eyon Irie. After that it's summer shows and writing songs for the next Orbits album!
In the meantime, if you don't have our self-titled cd yet, you can still pick it up on CD Baby and Itunes.
