Vonsonic have emerged on the Australian scene as a well defined hard rock band with great songs and presentation onstage. With the player’s histories spanning such acts as King Farook, The Hanging Tree and Subterrainen it goes without saying these guys can play.
This 3 piece band has propelled itself rapidly to become a known and respected act on the Sydney & NSW scene. They present a kickass live show that has gained the attention of their peers and the rest of the industry.
Throughout 2007 their reputation grew along with their fan base, media and industry interest.
Their first release in 2006 was an independent single called Do It Right Now which sold out its first pressing. Vonsonic’s debut album, No Breathing Allowed (MGM) was well received in 2007 and also sold out. They have been enjoying growing radio coverage on community and internet radio both here in Australia and overseas. No stranger to ‘working for it’ Vonsonic toured NSW constantly in 2007 racking up nearly 50 gigs and winning fans wherever they played and selling CD’s at every gig.
Now in 2008, Vonsonic are releasing their second studio album in September. They are touring the east coast of the country in October and November. These guys are about to spread the wings to a much wider audience, we hope you come along for the ride.
