We make friend requests because something was clever, interesting, just caught our attention, or seemed like cool people who might enjoy the attitude and energy of Iko Iko...and thanks!

Basically, we are the friends and fans for the greatest Blues, Rock, Americana, "Swampadelic" Roots band in the land, GRAHAM WOOD DROUT & IKO-IKO!!!!
This is the band heard in the films "Cape Fear" and "Contact" as well as tv, radio, satellite radio, internet radio and much more.
See the left side of this page for the band's own MySpace page.
Thanks to Little Silver Records, 5 incredibly HOT CD's later, the band is on fire! The shows are legendary.
Here is how it all started: A young couple from Minnesota was in Miami in 1988 and heard the most amazing band they'd ever heard after wandering in to this great little club called Tobacco Road. They got to talk with the band and bought their album called "Snowstorm in the Jungle." After returning to Minnesota, they started playing it for friends and would get together on Monday nights and thus began The Voodoo Crew (Named for the song, "Don't Mess with the Voodoo").
Well, after a return to Tobacco Road in 1996 (the band was not in town to their disappointment), they found the band's web site (a younger, simpler Internet at that time) and new CD's!
They found out that we were not alone in their love for this amazing band and invited anyone who wanted to join them to sign up. They have since gone on to do many things like movies and even work with another favorite, Jimmy Buffett! The rest is history!

Hey, Al Castiglia has a early dinner show at Frtz & Franz, also on Friday, so I'll probably head over to the nearby Titanic afterwards to catch you guys! By the way, I peeped in on you guys down in Key West last weekend while you y'all were rocking the Green Parrot. The Parrot's web cam kinda gives a creepy view,...and I like it!
Summer Namm's coming up quick now, Stage Ninja will be debuting its new product series (now for something completely different). Hold on to your hats, or Ninja Masks.
