About me: VooDoo Kings Traditional Kustom and Hot Rod Club. The VK's have been
going strong for nearly ten years. What started out with 4 members has
grown to 50 plus members in 6 states. The main chapter is located in
Northern Illinois, Itasca to be exact. That's the site of Buona Beef, the VK's Saturday night cruise night. The cruise started about
ten years ago and attracts a handful of cars. It's now in full swing,
with over 250 cars on a good night. The club consists of pre 1964
kustoms and hot rods. The cars range from mild to wild. It's a family
orientated club, on most Saturday's the littlest VK's can be found
dancing to the DJ- who only spins rockabilly ( and the occasional
country song). Are members ages range from 20 all the way to Mid 60's. There are some members who've been into cars since the
50's.

Clayton Ohio is north west of the I 75 - I 70 interchange near Dayton - from I70 go west 2.5 mile Go To Englewood exit and turn left. The show will be 1.5 mile on you right.

The Crown Vics are performing a FREE all ages show this Sunday May 3rd.
It will be at the Oak lawn Public Library, indoors at the lower level meeting room.
The Oak Lawn Library hosts musical acts here quite frequently. The room holds 320 people and this is the first time they are have a band that plays 1950’s Rock & Roll. This is an all ages show, early in the afternoon, and free. So this would be the best opportunity to bring the kids and family to see the Crown Vics.
There is a large parking lot, weather looks good, so drive on over with your old jalopy and show it off. Vintage attire is optional but appreciated, and of course there is plenty of room to dance…so I have been told.
Plenty of our new CDs will be available, $10 for 20 songs, that’s a deal.

We are still on cloud nine coming off of our performance at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas this past Friday. We still have plenty of pent up energy from our success there.
