I'm looking for producers/directors/film companies interested in taking comic book properties or scripts I've created and developing them as film or TV.
My name is Rob Moran and I'm a writer/artist: these days I mainly write for comics but I have written film, radio and cable TV scripts, and a nationally syndicated comic strip.
Right now I'm working on the art for...
Bonesaw created, written, illustrated and coloured/painted by me...control freak or what?
As the weeks go by I will be posting art from the book to whet your appetite...to start you off check out the BONESAW file in my PICS section.
Who I'd like to meet: Other creators: writers, artists, publishers, directors, producers, filmmakers, creatures of the night...anyone with a unique perspective or creative insanity and the skills to bring the byblows of their twisted imagination to screechy, squirming life...and, of course, people who love my work so they grow to become my own personal Army of Darkness!

I just handed off my new book to my first pre-reader. I've still got about 2 months of editing to do, but it's time to get some feedback on the story. I've begun line editing and if all goes well with this first read, I may be ahead of schedule for my October release!
Here's what people are saying about my novella, Monkey Love:
"John Paul Allen delivers well-drawn characters and emotional dynamite in this tale of dark suspense" - Scott Nicholson, author of They Hunger.
"One sadistic piece of work by one of the most talented new voices in dark fiction." - Karen Koehler, author of the Slayer series.
"Disturbing and intense, this story is a one-sit read that races, carrying you along to grim, uncharted terrain." - Lee Thomas, Bram Stoker Award-Winning author of Stained, Parish Damned and The Dust of Wonderland.
"From the first page, Monkey Love draws you into a surreal world that teeters on a disturbing balance of madness, eroticism, and obsession." David Niall Wilson, author of Deep Blue and Ancient Eyes.
"It's a wild ride, and I loved it from first page to last." - John R. Little, author of The Memory Tree and Placeholders.
"Exquisitely well-written, more than slightly twisted and compelling erotica for all horror readers." T.M. Wright, author of the forthcoming Bone Soup and Blue Canoe.
"Monkey Love is my first read by John Paul Allen and I can promise it won't be the last. Touching, peverse, oddly poignant and riddled with interesting questions about the nature of love and obsession, I can't recommend it enough. Monkey Love is the sort of tale that pushes the boundaries of comfortable and makes us question our own morals." - James A. Moore, author of Deeper and Blood Red.
