A Vineyard of Praise is a non-profit student organization of Georgia State University. Our mission is to express the love of God through praise, worship, dance, and community involvement, enabling us to effectively impact the lives of those we come in contact, throughout the Georgia State University and the Metropolitan Atlanta communities.
Under the direction of Elder Lathan Wood, Vineyard of Praise has been scheduled to minister for renowned gospel artists such as Jackie McCollough, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Daryl Coley, as well as several others, and has made partnership with other local gospel artists. Recently, A Vineyard of Praise experienced a powerful move of God on our Spring Tour across the Northeast. God really blessed the choir by allowing more partnerships to be created as well as affording the opportunity for VOP to tour. This experience also birthed an increasing spiritual awareness and ownership in the leadership of the choir, giving rise to the affirmation of our vision and where God desires to take the group as a whole.
Diversity in music and composition lends to our unique sound and a power anointing sets VOP away from your every day college choir. With the accompaniment of our awesome band Whodidit&y, we are a melting pot of different sounds that makes it difficult to pigeonhole our work. And with an anointing so vibrant and strong, it takes listeners off on an exhilarating spiritual journey.
The Vineyard strives to be active participants in the community. VOP did their part to help with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort by collecting food, clothing, toys and toiletries which were all donated to in need survivors. VOP has donated their time by performing at schools and community functions as well as serving meals to the less fortunate at Eagle’s Nest Ministries.
Over the last few years, A Vineyard of Praise has matured in the gospel ministry and hopes to carry the believers of our generation into a higher level of worship. It is our hope that the ministry of music and humbleness of servanthood unto mankind that God has given to us will be a blessing to as many lives as God allows us to touch in our ministry.

i have a new sharing with you , i just now released my new music named "the distance" , i roughly composed it about 3-4 years ago , then modified several times , this is first time to perform in public , for me , this is a challenge of dream , i sincerely invite you to listen , maybe you can give me some opinions , i hope my dream in music will not be your nightmare :)
