VORE has been cranking out their unique blend of crushing, doom-laden death metal since 1994. VORE draws upon death, doom, thrash and traditional metal influences to create an onslaught of brute power and heaviness. VORE’s mid-paced rhythmic style is built around strong riffs and songcraft, rather than all out speed, setting them apart from current trends in death metal. Over this soundscape, themes of doom, darkness, conquest and sorcery erupt in a savage vocal attack.
VORE was formed by guitarists/vocalists Page Townsley and John Voelker (currently on hiatus). They have independently released three self financed cd’s – Dead Kings Eyes in 1997, Lord of Storms in 2001 and Maleficus in 2005. Maleficus showcased the band’s current rhythm section of Remy Cameron on drums and Jeremy “Skullcrusher” Partin on bass guitar.
VORE has worked hard to promote their metallic wares in the metal underground and beyond. All of their releases have garnered accolades in the metal press, and despite remaining unsigned to a label all these years (many argue criminally so!), they have sold thousands of cd’s worldwide and charted on metal radio.
VORE is always at their best within the live realm, pummeling audiences with their thunderous sonic assault and tight energetic performances. Over the years VORE has performed with bands such as MORBID ANGEL, SIX FEET UNDER, NILE, IN FLAMES, MONSTROSITY, DEICIDE, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MANOWAR, HALFORD, ORIGIN, GOATWHORE, CATTLE DECAPITATION, CARCASS and many others. VORE are also veterans of the infamous Milwaukee Metalfest. Their strengths as a live act have earned them a steadily growing following.
In April of 2009 VORE premiered their first professionally shot music video for a new track entitled “Throne To The Wolves”. Their first two albums, long out of print, have been re-mastered and will be re-released in June. VORE is planning to return to the recording studio later this year to record their fourth opus.

My new 3 album box set ODESSA delves into the disgusting involvement the United States government had in hiding Nazi war criminals that were deemed, "intelligence assets", to be used against the Russians. ODESSA also examines the enthusiastic role the Franciscan Order, Argentinian and Chilean Governments, and Arab leaders who hated the Jews played in hiding and finding new homes for former fascists. It seems many nations had a reason to keep these monsters from being captured, and this is my attempt to expose the establishment of a Fourth Reich in South America that still exists to this day.
