Hi everyone! I was born in Budapest, Hungary on January 16, 1986. I was 10 years old, when I first heard “Do What I Say” by Clawfinger, but the real breakthrough and redemption was somewhat later, when I heard Official Live by PanterA, at the age of 11. From that time the word “music” has had a new meaning in my life! I played sports actively until I was 16 years old and the love of music proved to be sufficient until an acoustic guitar ended up in my hands in a sports camp where I was shown how to “play” the “Smoke On The Water” riff of Deep Purple on one string, with a coinJ. This was fate for me and since some of my relatives have played music (Gábor Vörös: Ossian/Fahrenheit/Ganxsta Kartell/Satöbbi (Etc.)J) or used to play music (my father: BTK, where Lajos Molnár (VHK) played the guitar and Zsolt “Szasza” Szendrei the drums), I got my first electric guitar almost immediately, at Christmas 2000. In the beginning I learnt to play the guitar on my own, and since I was in the most rebellious age of mine, I did not want to learn from a teacher, but after approximately 1.5 years I changed my mind and went to learn to a teacher, Ritchie Rubcsics (Ossian). After learning a year from him, I was admitted to Egon Póka’s Kobánya Music School in Budapest, Hungary. This is where I met Zolika “Pussyhead” Prepelicza and László “Makkos” Makai, and with them we later founded Remembering The Steel (PanterA Tribute) and Helldustry. But let me go back in time a little bit! It was quite early that I joined my first band (Pinch Pina Four today known as Aando band), from where I left after one year to Sculpsit, then after another year to Scary Guyz Metallica Tribute (I played a couple of gigs in the Judas Priest tribute band called Meltdown, where I was lucky enough to play with Gábor Vörös, my uncle)! Scary was my first major chapter in my music life, during approximately 2 years we performed almost 100 concerts! I can thank a lot to them! December 8, 2004, the day of the death of Dimebag Darrell became one of the most horrible days of my life. I heard the news approximately 10 hours later, the next morning. Let me tell you my then experiences about a form of human behavior. For weeks and months before this I was browsing eBay, the giant Internet auction portal, because I had been saving up for a Dimebag guitar for a couple of years. Only a couple of hours (!) after He died, “fans” put up various guitars, dedicated (!) in most cases proven with photographs as well, with all kinds of RIP bro and brother Dimebag texts ... This was a really great disappointment for me! Fortunately, however, the event evoked not only these types of reactions from people! During this time I received dozens of letters with best wishes, full of understanding from friends and acquaintances! Balu Koncz (a good friend of mine by today, whom we got to know in connection with the concert) started to organize a memorial concert, which turned out to be unique all over Europe! The evening, recruited from known and less known, but enthusiastic musicians from Hungary, showed how many people loved or knew PanterA and Dime! I wasn’t fortunate enough to get to know him or even meet him in person, but I would get a lot from him from videos, the stories of others and the expressions of love of people!!! He is a true example from both a human and music viewpoint! This memorial evening was very successful and it also brought professional recognition for me (a report in Hammer World): “The evening also brought a surprise on guitars, the below 20-year old Attila Vörös, who had previously played only in an unknown Metallica Tribute band, played with such feeling and so airily on the stage (Domination and Cemetery Gates), that you could not avoid taking notice. We will certainly hear about him!” After the memorial evening I got a request for the guitar player post from the band Sunday Fury, which ended up with some guest solos for their first record, “Fist” (this was my first such request)! My career at Scary Guyz ended when we founded Remembering The Steel (PanterA Tribute). The idea of the band was in me from the beginning (as well as the name after the Reinventing The Steel record)! Initially I didn’t dare to make it because of my music limits, but later on (around 2004) I started to look for members for the band anyway! The idea of the name “Remembering The Steel” was conceived in me already before December 2004, yet we could only establish the band in October 2006! After our first singer left the band, we returned after a long, almost 1.5 year pause with renewed strength and a new singer, András “Apey” Áron! In parallel with RTS we play our own music under the name Helldustry! The band will soon be concert-ready, thus we can finally concentrate fully on true self-expression! My other major milestones: -2007: the band named Morpheus (www.myspace.com/morpheusmetal) requested me to be a guest player on their third record, for a solo on one song. Finally, because of problems arising in the studio, I played all the solos for the record and I assisted the band on the concerts as well until Summer 2008 after the record had been released! -2007: I was guest guitar player in the song “Whore Of Babylon” on the record “Soul Injection” of band Nuke (www.myspace.com/postindustrialmotorcore)! - 2008: the band Cadaveres (www.myspace.com/cadaveres) invited me to be auxiliary player! It's a great honor that Smici (from the legendary hungarian thrash metal band called Moby Dick) asked me to collaborate with him on his new solo project as a song writer/co-producer and also for some guest solos at 2009! Sziasztok! 1986 január 16-án, Budapesten születtem! 9-10 éves koromban hallottam eloször a Clawfinger Do What I say c. nótáját, de ami az igazi áttörést, megváltást hozta meg számomra, az kicsit késobb, 11 éves-en a PanterA Official Live-ja volt. Onnantól kezdve a „zene” fogalma értelmet nyert az életemben! 15-16 éves koromig viszonylag aktívan sportoltam, így a zene szeretete önmagában elégnek bizonyult egészen addig, amíg egy edzotáborban a kezembe nem került egy akusztikus gitár, amin egy pénzérme segítségével megtanították „eljátszani” a Deep Purple Smoke On The Water riffjét egy húron?. Eljött a végzetem, és mivel a felmeno ágamban elég sokan zenélnek (Vörös Gábor: Ossian/Fahrenheit/Ganxsta Kartell/Satöbbi stb?) vagy zenéltek (apukám: BTK, ahol Molnár Lajos (VHK) gitározott és Szendrei „Szasza” Zsolt dobolt) nagyjából rögtön meg is kaptam 2000 karácsonyára az elso elektromos gitáromat. Eleinte autodidakta módon tanultam gitározni, tanárhoz a teljesen lázadó koromnál fogva sem akartam járni, de nagyjából másfél év után mégis elmentem egy tanárhoz, Rubcsics Ricsihez (Ossian). 1 év múlva az O segítségével felvételt nyertem Póka Egon Kobányai Zenei iskolájába. Itt ismerkedtem meg Prepelicza „Pinafej” Zolikával és Makai „Makkos” Lászlóval, akikkel késobb megalapítottuk a Remembering The Steel-t (PanterA tribute) és a Helldustry-t. Kicsit vissza az idoben! Viszonylag hamar beszálltam az elso zenekaromba (Pinch Pina Four, ma Aando band), ahonnan egy év után a Sculpsit-ba majd további egy év után a Scary Guyz Metallica Tribute zenekarba deportáltam magam (pár bulit játszottam a Meltdown nevu Judas Priest tribute zenekarban, ahol a nagybátyámmal, ahol Vörös Gáborral is volt szerencsém együtt zenélni)! A Scary volt az elso komolyabb fejezet zeneileg az életemben, velük összesen közel 100 koncertet játszottunk kb. 2 év alatt! Nagyon sokat köszönhetek nekik! Életem egyik legborzasztóbb napja 2004.12.08-a, Dimebag Darrell halálának napja lett. Másnap reggel, kb 10 órával késobb hallottam a hírt. Elmesélem az akkori tapasztalataimat az emberi viselkedés egy formájáról. Már hetekkel, hónapokkal elotte böngésztem a világ egyik legnagyobb internetes aukciós portálját, az eBay-t, mivel egy Dimebag gitárra gyujtögettem akkor már pár éve. Az eset után pár órával (!) többszörös, néha 10x-es áron rakták fel a különbözo, legtöbbször fényképpel is bizonyítottan dedikált(!) gitárokat a „rajongók”, minden-féle RIP bro, brother Dimebag szöveggel… Nagyon nagy csalódás volt ez számomra! Szerencsére azonban nem csak ilyen reakciókat váltott ki ez az emberekbol! Ebben az idoben tucat számra kaptám a barátoktól, ismerosöktol a különbözo általában jókívánságokkal, megértéssel teli leveleket! Koncz Balu (ma már jó barátom, akit a buli kapcsán ismertem meg) elkezdett szervezni egy emlékkoncertet, ami egész Európában egyedülállónak bizonyult! A neves és kevésbé neves, de lelkes itthoni eloadókból verbuvált este, megmutatta, hogy hányan is szerették vagy ismerték a PanterA-t és Dime-t! Nekem sosem adatott meg a szerencse, hogy megismerjem vagy akárcsak találkozhassak is vele személyesen, de a videókból, mások elbeszéléseibol, az emberek szeretetkinyilvánításaiból sokat kaphattam tole!!! Egy igazi példakép mind emberileg, mind zeneileg! Ez emlékest nagyon sikeres volt, és szakmai elismerést is hozott számomra (Hammer World beszámoló): „Gitáron amúgy meglepetés is ért az este, az eddig csupán egy ismeretlen Metallica Tribute csapatban játszó 20 év alatti Vörös Attila olyan feelinggel gitározott, olyan felszabadultan nyomult a színpadon (Domination és Cemetery Gates), hogy nem lehetett nem felfigyelni rá. Róla hallani fogunk még!” Az emlékest után a Sunday Fury zenekartól kaptam egy felkérést gitárosi posztra, amibol végül egy vendéggitározás kerekedett ki, az elso lemezükre a Fist-re (ez volt az elso ilyen jellegu felkérésem)! A Scary Guyz-os pályafutásomnak, a Remembering The Steel (PanterA Tribute) létrejötte vetett véget! A zenekar ötlete a kezdetektol fogva bennem volt! Eleinte a zenei korlátaim miatt nem nagyon mertem foglalkozni az ötlet megvalósításával, késobb mégis elkezdtem keresni a tagokat a zenekarhoz! A Remembering The Steel név ötlete, már jóval 2004 decembere elott megfogalmazódott bennem, de csak 2006 októberében sikerült összehozni a bandát! Az akkori énekesünk kiválása után, hosszabb majd 1,5 éves szünet után megújult erovel és énekessel, Áron „Apey” Andrással tértünk vissza! Az RTS mellett párhuzamosan csináljuk a saját zenénket is Helldustry néven! A zenekar lassan koncertképes lesz, így teljes erovel az igazi önkifejezésre tudunk végre valahára koncentrálni! Egyéb fontos állomás.. -2007: Morpheus nevu zenekar felkért, hogy egy szóló erejéig vendégeskedjek náluk a III. lemezükön. Végül a stúdióban felmerülo problémák miatt az összes szólót én játszottam fel a lemezre, és a lemezmegjelenést követoen 2008 nyaráig a koncerteken ki is segítettem a zenekart! -2007:ben vendégszerepeltem továbbá még a Nuke zenekar Soul Injection lemezén a Whore Of Babylon c. számban! -2008-ban felkértek a Cadaveres-be kisegíto gitárosnak! -2009/10-ben Smici (a legendás Moby Dick énekes/gitárosa), Bloody Roots nevu új projectjén szerepeltem jó néhány vendégszólóval, és közremuködtem "gitár Co-producerként" is!
