VORTEX, arrollador, contundencia en estado puro. Desde 2003 este grupo navarro formado por Kepa, Ibai, Ion, Eder, Andoni e Iker ha ido creciendo y madurando hasta lo que son hoy, uno de los mas prometedores grupos de metal estatal. Tras codearse con todo tipo de grupos de primera línea a los que nada tienen que envidiar, sacan al mercado este “TODO O NADA”, disco que no dejará indiferente ni a propios ni a extraños. Diez temas al más puro estilo VORTEX, donde la melodía y la distorsión más dura se mezclan como dos caras de una misma moneda. El presente y el futuro. No os lo perdáis. Simplemente brutal.
“TODO O NADA”, disco debut de la banda, fue grabado, mezclado y masterizado en diciembre de 2007 entre los estudios XY de Olocau (Valencia) y los estudios "K" de Iruña, bajo la dirección del productor levantino Tony Llano y Alberto "Kaguen". El diseño artístico del libreto corre a cargo de Raúl Iriarte (Raperos de Emaus) y Andoni Asenjo (Vortex), encargándose de la edición del trabajo XY Records. Podríamos decir que hay momentos en el disco que recuerdan a Slipknot, Ill niño, Hamlet,… pero todo bajo el sello personal de este sexteto navarro. 10 cortes que integran el cd: PolítiKO (bofetada a la clase dirigente), El mundo a tus pies (uno de los mejores temas de la banda), Fuiste tu, mi voluntad, La tierra de los sueños, Zuentzat (tema en euskera en el que muestran su lado mas delicado y personal, dirigido a todas las personas que les apoyan), Sin rumbo, Dentro de ti, Nunca mires atrás y HDP (contra los buitres que solo ponen trabas y juegan con la ilusión de los demás).
10 temas que brillan en todos los aspectos, tanto en su música como en sus letras, pasando desde el metal más duro hasta el rock más melancólico y pegadizo. En este disco además de la banda titular, que son Kepa Zarranz e Ibai Matxain (bateria y bajo de la formación respectivamente, la sólida base rítmica), Eder Gonzalez y Ion Hernandez (las dos guitarras demoledoras), Andoni Asenjo como DJ y teclista (que tantos matices diferentes aporta al grupo) e Iker Serrano, voz desgarradora y a la vez melódica, (frontman todoterreno por excelencia), contiene la colaboración del rapero Moisés Berdonces (Raperos de Emaus) en Sin rumbo y Nunca mires atrás, dándole un color mas Hip-Hop a las canciones, y la colaboración del gran bajista Carlos Maeso, en Zuentzat. Metal callejero bestial, eso son y eso han conseguido. Un discazo que lo tiene todo para convertirse en un referente.

Una apuesta por abrirse paso en el panorama musical. Pero sin duda guardan un as bajo la manga: Sus directos, donde ponen toda la carne en el asador para el mayor deleite de sus seguidores. Es obligado asistir a sus directos para poder sentir lo que VORTEX realmente significa. Caña, brutalidad, saltos, movimiento, dinamismo y control del escenario. Su corta edad no merma su saber estar y sus tablas sobre el escenario. Por lo que no os perdáis la gira que preparan por todo el estado, ni este disco.
