Thank you for adding as into your circle of friends - are your still doing the live music thing on Friday nights? Our bass player, Dean, who also had played with the Mad Dawgs, has mentioned it to us....we'd like to come and play too!
I came and it was awesome! Like some secret underground where the best talent in Seattle comes and you get to see these groups before they break out in a major way or major talent that comes to hang out and groove.
Highlights of the night: Dirty D entertained us with his music and (he's so cute I want to adopt him baby boy)sure to be hit single rap tune: :I FEEL ALIVE. Myke Singleton on the guitar helping out for a worthy event. And who was that girl with the pigtails that has a voice like Satan one minute while she puts any hard core heavy metal rocker to the test then she like morphs into a soulful rendition the next minute?
Anyways, it was a very entertaining night and Seattle..... if you don't start beating down the door to the vortex you seriously are missing out on history taking place.
Maybe the next Kurt Cobain will rise out of here and YOUR GOING TO MISS IT!
Thanx for having our band perform at The Vortex. It was an awesome time! Hopefully we will put on more shows at The Vortex in the not too long distant future!
Brooklyn aka The Brooklyn Six Project™ of the group known as The MadDawgz
