Voice Of Reason

Youth, wit and wisdom are rarely found in the same package.
So we didn't really bother with that last one.

"iPod" + "Set In Stone" Live @ O2 Academy (09.07.2011)
Quirky lyrics, catchy hooks, a song about uploading music to the brains of ancient tribes, and the most energetic stage-show since Iggy Pop snorted caffeine, Voice Of Reason effortlessly combine the acceptable face of commercial with the really rather obscure.

What’s not to like? Apart from maybe the logo.

Opinions

"VOR are proving ever more impressive... effortlessly balancing talented musicianship with a free-spirited quirkiness, reflected in their distinctive melodies and energetic riffs."
   - Daily Echo Bournemouth (Jade Grassby)
"They say you better listen to the Voice Of Reason"
   - Elvis Costello

"These guys haven't let their relaxed, jovial outlook [compromise] the quality of musicianship or production one bit...a very musically competent band"
   - Dan Renton (DorsetRockOnline.com)
"Yeah, they’re alright actually"
    - Greg, our Dad's mate

What we do etc. in someone else's words

Four young music-makers thrown together from the deep reaches of Poole (England), bonded by their mutual love for making sounds at people...

Moulding an ideal blend of heavy-hitting rock riffs and searing piano-based melodies into something listenable – the VOR clan embrace a range of diverse individual influences to present a strong sense of originality and musical aptitude.

Having released their third EP decoratively (and factually) named 'You Can't Sleep On A Vertical Ironing Board' in August 2010, and online the following October, they now reckon that you should go and download it because they potentially guarantee the possiblity of you liking it.

Writing this in the third person seemed that bit less pretentious.
