Some of our listeners say . . . :
"hey guys you sound great, I really like your style. Theres just not enough real rock out anymore."
"Very sick beat! its like a mix of system of a down and nirvana"
"you guys f*cking rock"
"i think ya'll suck"
"I like your sound. I can hear influences from some of the '90s and current groups. But in a few songs I hear some sounds that I remember from bands in the '60s and early '70s."
"kind of reminds me of early-mid 90's indie/college/stoner rock with a new emo-dark-melodic twist."
No - we may not be from New Jersey - but you can still vote for us to be their hottest band!

In a world where rock & roll labels everything from Slayer to The Killers, its hard to claim that's what you play. But Vose is undaunted . . . we play rock & roll. To claim that we're grunge or punk or alternative just gives us a stigma and sets us up for people to say, "no, youre not." Nobody's going to try to tell us we're not a rock band. Vose formed in March of 2005, the product of lead singer and guitarist Rob Harvey's three year search for the right elements to create a band with the potential to be great. With long-time friend and collaborator Patrick Kitt on the bass, and the young (but ultimately ass-kicking) Big Stevie on the drums, Vose is ready to destroy the world with their fresh perspective on the music. With influences such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Fuel, Alice in Chains, Live, and even bands like INXS and The Rolling Stones, Vose creates a new sound that is fast-paced, energetic and emotional. The band has been busy writing, practicing and testing the waters in colleges and bars since their union, careening towards their chance to merge into the mainstream. Until then, Vose is happy with the fact that they can rock you back and forth and give you something to think about at the same time. Vose plays mostly original songs, but you can expect to hear a few covers from Vose's perspective, as well.
by the way . . . Vose is pronounced like "dose", not like "rose"
