About me:

Hi, I'm Brandee, but you can call me Deed.
I have no money, I have no car. I bike places but I’m severely asthmatic, so I never make it very far. I live in collective house in Madison, WI with some people I used to live in a housing co-op with. We call our house Sherwood. I work at a local family-owned, vegan friendly ice cream place, I really enjoy it. I have a baby rat named Archimedes who I'm quickly falling in love with. I love everything about bicycles and enjoy working on them in my free time. I don't like eating animals or seeing them hurt or dead, sorry. My friends never know where I am, I tend to disappear, a lot. Also, I’m terrible with keeping in contact with people. I’m kind of quiet but I have a lot to say! I’m always up for an adventure. I love meeting new people and going new places. I love playing music, riding my bike, making art, cooking and talking about animals.

    Well if they find mail delivery trucks luxurious, then a Bus may be what they seek...because that's about how nice they are. But you know this already.

    I drove Mel's car home from that party we went to last night and I'd forgotten just how advanced modern vehicles are in comparison. Able to hold 75-80 on the freeway without effort, smooth acceleration, you don't feel like you're about to tip over when you round corners, brakes that feel like they can slow the rotation of the earth, you don't get blown around like a leaf when a gust of wind hits you at speed, WORKING HEAT, cruise control...the whole nine! Things that the majority have completely taken for granted.

    I think the next time you come out, or when I get there (whichever happens first), you should try driving it. You're either going to giggle like a little kid the whole time or fear for your life. Maybe both.

    People spend so much time and money getting a car that they think will 'impress' people...and all you have to do is buy a rusty 30-year-old rolling brick for $900 and people think its the raddest thing and point and wave and throw peace signs everywhere you go. :)
