About me:
Lorraine M. Pasquali, Democratic candidate for Northampton County Council was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a bachelor's degree in political science.
Currently, she sits on the board of directors of the Southside Film Institute where she acts as volunteer coordinator. She is also Executive Vice-Chair and Communications Chair of the Lehigh Valley Democratic Coalition.
Over the last few decades this area has been through it's fair share of growing pains. We have reached a crossroads where the balance between progress and maintaining our quality of life presents serious challenges. "I am confident, that as a member of the Northampton County Council, I can meet the current needs of our communities with an eye on Northampton County's future. I believe that the role of county council is one of stewardship."
Issues at the top of the agenda include open space preservation and economic development.
Lorraine will also make every effort to work with her counterparts in Lehigh County Government to address those issues that are not just county-wide but valley-wide. These include transportation and traffic issues and public health services among others.
"Together we can move Northampton County forward, making the transition to a 21st Century economy while continuing to preserve the natural beauty and quality of life we have all come to cherish. I hope I can count on your vote on November 3!"
Endorsements: Lehigh Valley Labor Council; Northampton County Democratic Committee
