About me: Having taught theatre and English for nearly 30 years in the Oregon public school system, I now am enjoying dabbling in other ventures. Since my retirement I have taught a year in private school, exchanged 3 years of doing custodial work 2x per week to reduce tuition for our son, sold furniture for 6 months, run unsuccessfully for Benton County Commissioner (I wasn't elected.), driven school bus for 5 months, and am presently driving people from the Willamette Valley to the Portland airport and back 4x per week as a fulltime employee of HUT SHUTTLE. In my spare time I have directed an all female production for a woman's ministry since 2003 although that has been shelfed for over a year. I am presently serving as a member on 2 different non-profit boards and will be a founding member of a nonprofit organization which is presently being formulated. I also help my wife and her ministry partner minister the Father's Love once a quarter to a number of individuals.
The newest news is that my oldest daughter Alicia is expecting our 1st grandson in June (which we are tickled blue over) and I am working on a one man show which hopefully will debut sometime in the latter part of this year, 2008. Other than that I stay active with our 6 year old prayer group once a week (3 couples...originally 5) and try to connect with my children whenever possible.

Hey Ron ~ I was thinking about your and your family. Hope all is going well with you and them. All is going well here. Next weekend I will head to Dallas for a week and help out at a festival for my VP. But Shannon and I have plans to hit San Antonio and Austin for a few days first. Papa! Oh how I've missed you! I've been so busy with work that last few months that I've hardly had time to breathe. I think Paul was here a few weeks ago but I was on a business trip to California at the time. We'll do our best to see him when he's here the next time.

sorry about the lack of information to you guys about moms party. We all thought about it two days prior to the party and planned it then- I was told you-heather and kay were all coming and so that is why I was bummed of course but it all worked out fine. I had misplaced my address book and didn't want to ask mom for your number since it was a surprise party- (that is why I didn't call ya until the day of) She enjoyed her day though- and was spoiled in love. How was Seaside? I hear that the surfing is choice out there, and there is a great left-handed break out there somewhere! (oh the things I learn at the surf shop) So you still up for coffee sometime? I start class again here soon. I'm pretty busy during the day now..I'm done by 4 Mon&Wed, and 3 Tues&Thurs. Friday I work at the surf shop from 10-2. Anyway. let me know! Hmmm...Friday might work on this end. I know that i have a meeting in the morning at 9:00 and i'm not sure how long it will last. I dont think i have to work either. Hello Paparon ~ I was thinking about you today...how's everything with you and yours? I hope well. Just got in last night from Maryland...went to the cabin for a long weekend and go snow tubing. In two weeks Shannon will be in Columbus for work, so I will be going down to meet up with her. Other than that I'm just keeping busy with work and stuff. Hope all is well & please tell Heather I said "Hello".
