Vow of Silence is a one man band. I wanted to create a style of music that blends slow paced sludge metal with slow paced death metal.
I try to keep all the songs short and to the point. No filler and no bullshit. Just the meat of the songs.
Alot of the songs are also adlibbed as the recorder is rolling. I have a general idea of what the song should sound like, but the rest is made up as I go.
I also have the 2006 demo up at http://www.purevolume.com/vowofsilenceband

Greetz from the gutter, sludged presence of guilt pounded doom we got a new track up in a way its about the truthful rights of society's principles in the world of reality its also about the battle between the power and the mind u can take it to any direction u want, as long as its real...
might as well tell us whatcha think bout it, about the vibe...
Howz it rollin? the riffs of the sun came back to the center of the valley of deceit, the riff is gotta keep on defending the true speech of real art, nihilstic beats of power. the roots of all soceity's wrath are goin down. the thirt wave of the opium fields may lead us to amplified redemption.

I like what you're doing musically because you're not letting your songs drag on for eons and you've got some interesting riffs there. I'm not to big on the vocals, though, and it's mainly because I'm not an avid listener of death metal anymore. I do, however, listen to a lot of black metal, so what the hell do I know?
