I vaguely remember what you were saying about the cell phones, how they directly affect women's rights, and was hoping I could find some more information and I haven't yet. So if you get the time I would love to hear/read whatever you got!
Thanks so much.
Peace & Love always,

Pippi's final word on life without authority:
"But who tells you when to go to bed at night and things like that?" Asked Annika.
"I tell myself," said Pippy. "First I tell myself in a nice friendly way; and then,
if I don't mind, I tell myself again more sharply; and if I still don't mind,
then I'm in for a spanking- see?"

Congratulations on yet another brilliant and illuminating performance featuring some of the best yet … I’ve been a big fan for 10 years. Thank you for comforting the disturbed, disturbing the comfortable and opening our eyes to what’s most important.
I’ve decided to grow a vegetable garden.

"The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget." - Arundhati Roy

There is a FREE multicultural forum on sexual assault in our communities this coming Tuesday, APRIL 10TH at 6:30 pm at El Futuro Community Center (1070 Bannock, Denver CO).
Featuring speakers: Jordan Garcia from American Friends Service Committee and Mercy Salazar from RAAP speaking to assault in the immigrant community, Tammy Rydstrom from DOVE addressing sex assault in the deaf community, various members from the Asian Pacific Development Center presenting on issues of sexual violence in Asian communities, Veronica Garcia and Kelly Costello from Colorado Anti-Violence Project discussing sexual violence and the queer community, and Debora Beck-Massey addressing sexual violence against women with disabilities.
Why should you be there? Because whether you are in one of these communities, or identify as an ally, it's important for all of us to come out and support each other and educate ourselves. Opportunities for questions and a community discussion will not only be given but encouraged... Did I mention there will be FREE FOOD?
Come be a part of your community's discussion on sexual violence and how it affects you...
