Vox Palma are El Diablo’s Marching Band. They have come to burn down the village and then celebrate in the scorched streets with their Pathetique Panic Parade. Loot what you can and leave at once...Cowards Unite Strength in Numbers!!!
Vox Palma is a greasy five piece rock outfit from Orlando, Florida. Sounding something like a cross between Modest Mouse and At the Drive In making out with the Pixies while being stomped on by Rocket from the Crypt guitar stylings. The diverse influences of the band have reflected in their music enough to allow them to share the stage with acts of all respects. Over the last few years they have shared the stage with several diverse acts ranging from the very intense Dillenger Escape Plan, RTX (ex Royal Trux), and Retard-O-Bot to more laid back groups such as the Willowz, Leslie, Showbread, Gil Mantera’s Party Dream and tons and tons of others. Their music has gained the attention it deserves and has allowed them to participate in the Florida Music Festival, Anti-Pop, the Atlantis Music Conference, the Zippo Hot Tour, and landed them a space in No Cover magazine’s CD sampler. The band released their first EP "Select Abuses" last year as a taste of what to expect of their very soon to be released full length "Wearing the Wire". Expect to have your faces melted off and ears ravaged by the aural onslaught it is sure to ensue.

I interviewed renowned photographer Bob Gruen last year and just posted a video of that on YouTube. He talks about the early days when he was taking pictures of Ike and Tina Turner, John Lennon, the New York Dolls, the Sex Pistols and the Clash. Check it out!
