Started in 2004 and soon released an EP, Lord Of Pesetas (2005). After a fuzzy beginning, we somehow got more melody in the songs, but still use a lot of noise. After some band shifts we now play as a four-headed combo.
Went to the UK in 2006 to perform with a few other Dutch bands: the Sugarettes, Appie Kim and Hallo Venray. The evening before Liverpool all of us made our descend in Great Harwood, where we ought to play at the Royal Hotel. It was sort of a miracle that the show went on cause the local diner treated some members of the bands to food poisoning.
During this time we were planning to record an album and in ’07 we went to the studio. We recorded at the Sahara Sound Studios in The Hague with Henk Koorn and did the additional recordings at home. Also asked some music friends to play along on a few tracks, like Natasha van Waardenburg (Appie Kim) and Michael Nolte (The Womans).
So, a year later our debut album Something Ain’t Wrong (2008) was released on Subroutine Records. And yes, this is the place where we should mention all the good reviews. We really liked the one from KEXP from Seattle. Our song ‘when did you become so popular’ went straight to song of the day. After our album we played a lot of great clubs and festival like Eurosonic, ZXZW, Paradiso, Vera and Tivoli. At this very moment, the main thing is working on our second album.

“They rock me and I dance unapologetically to their grooves. They make me feel like I'm participating in another era of music... a time when it mattered what you did and what you created. Vox Von Braun completes my evening's therapy with a resounding sonic exclamation mark.”
