April 21st played with Iraj (Colombo) ,Ranidu (USA), Killer B (Colombo), Hollee Smokez (New York), as "DeeJVas", that was a cooooool night with them ( to see some pics www.damlak.net/damlakphotos/album=9&photo=184 ) Iraj gave me the floor and I rapped with him on "J.Town Story". Since then I do the "Lankan Beat" mix...UP.

With my friends i did an Indian Night party on 1st April (DeeJVee), and we did a couple more Nights in a Boat - capacity of 300 people.( Me as DJ redindian).

Still keeping on with private parties, and in 2005 started mixing at Jara Bacova in Paris

Since 2001, i'm in Paris ("DeeJVee"), and checking around France. I play in private parties, resto, clubs...from that i mix mostly bollywood songs.
2000
Used to stick around in Reggae pub, River reggae, Ice-ku till 2000, but i loved being inside Black & White club. From there i changed my name to "DeeJVee".
1999
Started mixing as permanent DJ for Antonacies Club, Nicosia ("DJ"), released a 2nd CD mix which is holding English, Hindi, Tamil, Singhala and Greek songs (rnb hip hop style)...
1998
Used to work in other restaurants and cafes for weekends. I always visited Aiya Napa (clubbing capital of Europe) but really i got inside Aiya Napa in Summer...
1997
As a recognised DJ I started working in 1997 at Elizabethan Club ("DJVaz"), Nicosia. Released my first CD with one of my friends called Manju, in 1997, CD was holding selected English songs, (house mix),,,

I started on CD to mix live in 1996 at Shooters Cafe ("DJV") in Nicosia.
my 1st mix in 1992 on cassette in Colombo, maybe thats how i sarted my DJ life,but that time i don't know what's the meaning of DJ.
