Just about anything sci-fi (even "B" and "C" movies!), some horror (mainly anything that isn't just gore), the occassional comedy. I can appreciate a good drama, but won't go out of my way to watch it. That goes for chick flicks as well. Favorite "romance" movie? "Lifeforce", HANDS DOWN.
Television
Stargate (SG1 and Atlantis), Dr. Who, Smallville, Battelstar Galactic, Bioinc Woman, Charmed, Andromeda, Earth Final Conflict, misc. anime on Cartoon Network. Just about anything sci-fi...A, B, or C quality. Also misc. shows on the History, Discovery, etc. channels about UFOs, mysteries, etc. OH! Favorite funny programming choice....shows about alien abduction on the Travel Channel. HILARIOUS! :D
Books
Any by Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Ruth Montgomery, Zecharia Sitchin. I also love a good science or mechanical reference book, plus art books about sci-fi and anime (check the Intron Depot series).
