It all started when I was 9 years old when I bought my first tape, called "Creatures of the Night, by some little unknown band called Kiss. The moment I pressed play and then saw their videos on TV, I knew music would be a fundamental part of my life no matter what. Then came bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura and Biohazard among many others and my life was changed forever! At age 12 I started on the drums and guitar and formed a metal band called Imortel. It was a short lived project but it gave way to me being in another band called Angel Negro. Angel Negro got to be one of the most popular bands in the whole city of Cali, Colombia and it opened the world of the underground to me. I met a lot of interesting people and my mind was open to explore new musical tendencies and to know that creating ones own music was very possible. That is when I got my first music production software.
At the moment, VERAMUZIK finds himself spinning in the hottest clubs Of Colombia and fully dedicated to production of several musical projects. Among them is the rock band "FEVER" where as drummer and electronic coordinator has seen an incredible growth within the band in a short period of time. He is currently shopping a demo with labels from Canada, Colombia, Mexico and The United States who have all shown great interest in his original and powerful compositions in the fields of electronic music. At the same time this pioneering artist is always in search of new and exciting sounds to incorporate into his own musical projects.
