WE ARE THE LARGEST PIT BULL RESCUE & SANCTUARY IN THE COUNTRY. SADLY, WE ALWAYS HAVE A POPULATION OF ABOUT 200 DOGS. DUE TO THE BAD IMAGE PORTRAYED BY THE MEDIA AND SOCIETY, OUR ADOPTION RATE IS VERY SLOW. WE ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT DEPENDS ON PUBLIC DONATIONS AND PRIVATE GRANTS TO KEEP OUR DOORS OPEN. IT CURRENTLY COSTS $600 A DAY TO RUN OUR FACILITY. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION, PLEASE VISIT OUR MAIN WEBSITE AT: WWW.VRCPITBULL.COM

I can appreciate the hard work of rescue.... but please, WHY are the dogs that are up for adoption NOT NEUTERED???? THAT MAKES NO SENSE to me. Please... explain.. There are free neuter/spay programs...
Thanks for the add.. I love watching your show and i love what you are doing for these misunderstood beauties. Our family just adopted a 2 year old Pit from our local animal shelter and she is the most well tempered and beautiful dog i have seen ( i think i am a bit partial though =)) Her name is Bella, my heart breaks every time someone either walks on the other side of the street when we are walking or when they won't even let their dog be at the dog park with us, just because of her breed. We call her "aggressively happy" cause all she wants to do is play with you or other dogs and cuddle on the couch while we watch tv. Well thank you again for such a wonderful job you are doing with these creatures. they all deserve a loving home and people who understand them and who won't judge them on what they are but rather what they can give to a family.
This is Bella with our 7 year old cat..as you can see Bella can care less...
hey thanks for the add. i just love your show. and i love what you do for these beautiful creatures. i too have a pit, toby, hes about 2 yrs old, ive had him since he was just born, heres a pic. hes so gorgous.
Your so welcome, thank you for the comment that is a beauty. I want to post pictures of my baby so you can see what she looks like. She is adorable too lol. Take care and let us know again if there is anything we can do to help.
THANKS FOR THE ADD GUYS! i really believe in what you guys are doing! people need to be educated that Pits arent aggressive by nature, its how thay are raised that deems their outcome. i am very interested in Snorky and Pablo and if i could adopt, i would, unfortunately i live in an apartment with no yard, so i dont think it would be nice for a dog :( Keep up the awesome work you guys! no doubt i will donate and or adopt when i can!!!!
everyone is praying for you and that we are behind you 500% Not only are you the most wonderful, loving, PAWSOME person, but you are my HERO! My sister and I are going to turn our 185 acre farm into a PIT BILL rescue. There is nothing MORE i want in life than to save helpless pitbulls, this is my dream!

Tia and Family, First of I'd like to say that you all are ALWAYS in my prayers...God will TRULY bless you for the WONDERFUL things you do...and just keep ur faith and everything will work out with ur husband! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE ur show, it's BY FAR the BEST show EVERRRRR put on tv!! I am a HUGE animal lover, but pit bulls have my heart and always will
My sister and I have 5 pittys together, they are the LOVE of our lives. I do animal rescue, right now I only have 14, i could only imagine how it is to have 200 ( I'd LOVE to find out someday tho :D) It brings tears to my eyes when i think about all the wonderful things you do for these pit bulls, so many ppl hate them and think they are the worst breed ever(but if they spend 5mins with one they would fall inlove!!) It fills my heart to know that there are other ppl in the world that love animals (pittys) as much as me. It's so sad, here in Virginia, when a pit bull comes into the shelter it is put down 1st thing because of their name...they don't even get a chance. I found (pet finder) my newest pit bull at a shelter almost 22 hrs away. When i looked at him, i knew i HAD to have him..i would have drove a week to get him! His name is Pork Chop, he's almost a yr now...I got him the SAME day he was supposed to DIE. He's the biggest lap dog u have ever seen even though he's 70 lbs of muscle, he sleeps with me in the bed, goes everywhere n car, and wouldn't HURT a FLY. I know that my voice isn't loud enough for all the pittys out there but if we all come together we could make a HUGE diffrence. I do what i can, sometimes it doesn't seem like enough but i will ALWAYS stand up for them no matter what, WE R THEIR VOICE!
You Tia are a GIFT from God, and I could NEVER thank you enough for what you all do for the pittys! I WOULD give anything to meet you and your family...and ALL of the pittys..hopefully one day i can. Until then know that
I messaged all my horse friends on facebook about donating too you some hopfully you should be getting some generous donations this week ill be donating soon! Hope today goes well for you!
thanx for the add... i love your show... im glad to see that there is a show that broadcasts these very misunderstood dogs to show thier true gentle side
Another awesome show! Tears n happiness! I was so sad and cried when "Gringa" was put down. I was hoping she would pull through, though it's better this way so she's no longer suffering. I was sooo excited for Uggie to have found a loving home! I truly hope that AJ gets to come home soon. I know how hard it can be to have to technically sit back and not be able to do anything. I have been to 2 of my dad's parole hearings and it made me so angry at times to know there wasn't much I could do. Similar to your husband 1 of my dad's charges he never actually committed. But cause he had been in and out of jail since he was young and it happened in his neighborhood he was an easy target for them to pin it on. He will get out next year but so much time has been lost. Just keep your head up and keep faith and know that you are a true hero to some of us! Keep up the amazing work you, your family and the parolee's do! Thank you ALL for caring sooo much!!
Hi tia Maria! My pit Nena used to go to
Training with you by the animal shelter but he got too wild so we stopped going and now she had kids their a year old now and ahh I wished we couldve kept going for them to be trained! But anyways I love your show my dad and I are stuck on it!
i was in tears with the show last night .. the stories on there hit close to home .. i had to put my babygirl .down after she had cancer an it was the hardest thing i had to do .. an ur in my prayers for all the hard work u do .. an my prayers are with u n jus ask god to give u the strength n evrything will go ok for aron .. n god will see things through . so keep doin what u doin .. an may god bless you ..
Tia, another great show. Ugy has my heart and just luved it when you realized he just playin ya's, by being stubborn. Gringa, WOW she stole my heart and I cried and cried. I don't know if you have visited my page and seen my pits. They are both gone now too. I am still grieving for them, it hurts each and everyday. When I get a good car to make it to the LA area. I would luv to set up an appointment and get to meet you, the parolees, your daughters, and of course ALL the PITS. and to actually see how it's all handled and done each day. I was wondering out here in Modesto, and else where, just to have them on your own property, you have to now actually have some high insurance, how does that work for you and all you PITS that you have there?
Sorry to say, just today, out here in the Sacramento area ... Carmichael, CA. the police had to put down, no actually shoot two PITS that were running wild in a neighborhood out there. From what I gather, they had bitten 2/3 people. On the news you can see that one of the PITS had broken free from somewhere that had him/her tied up on a rope. IT is truly sad just sad what happens to these beautiful dogs. They do get judged unfairly. Don't they?
Tia my heart and prayers goes out to you and to your husband. I have been there and gone thru it all, just as you are doing now. I will keep you and your hubby in my prayers each and everyday.
Take Care, God Bless, and PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK that YOU do.
I'm the Husband of Brat :p. thansk for the add. great job you and every 1 is doing top help these animals. and giving them a second chance at life. keep up the good work.
Thank you for the add, I found you thru your show on animal planet and it's good to see attention brought to these amazing dogs. I rescued a rednose years ago and I now own a blue female pit pup who we found running the streets abandoned. She is one of our family and she is so loving and sweet. These dogs are so smart and love their owners like no other dog I have ever been around. Im happy that the new show is bringing so much attention to a much needed situation. Thank you, let me know if there is anything I can do or my husband to help out. "Brat"
once again, what a great show!! this one really hit home, having lost my "scooby" (bull mastiff/pitbull mix) do to cancer. congrats on the adoption! seems like every time i send one to a new home, 2 more come in its place, i hope i never get close to 200, but, i will do what it takes to help out. (r.i.p Gringa, know that you were loved in the end little one)
Thanks for the add. I love the show, can't wait to see tonights episode, been looking forward to it all week. I think it's awesome what you are doing. I wish I lived near you so I could help out too.
