About VRD Records

Inspired by the creation of Nottingham DJs Paul S & Ivory's HEAVYBRONX Records Leicester-based Voodoo Rhythm Devil ( VRD ) Records was launched in 2000 with the aim of getting out some serious underground hip hop from the midlands to help balance the scales against the commercial wackness.

Run by Ed209° and his co-pilot Ade the label began with Ed's EXSTATIC trilogy - SUPEREXSTATIC in 2001 / STILLEXSTATIC in 2003 / STAYEXSTATIC in 2007.

VRDs next release this Spring will be a 12" with the legendary Queens MC Imam T.H.U.G. entitled 'Karma360' ... this will be followed by a CD Compilation of the first 3 EPs titled FOREVEREXSTATIC in 08.

This space is a showcase for developing beats for potential releases.
