My interests are diverse and not easily compartmentalized to form a clean picture of who I am. But here they are: friends and family, fishing, motorcycles, making good business, writing, reading, Alaska and Meghan.
There are alot of other things that fill in around these big ones, but this is the big stuff. I try not to have too many hobbies and interests because we barely have enough time here to get really good at a few things. So I try to focus. | | Music | Melvins, Party of Helicopters, Decahedron, GBV, North of America, Ted Leo, Superchunk, Les Saavy Fav, Trail of the Dead, Pinback, Eric Bachmann (You get the idea?)
Quality Loud Rock with bands, instruments, voices and emotion. | | Movies | I love them. There's alot of power in them. Coen Bros make me think and laugh, and realize how fun it can be to make a film, and make money with it.
I go to the movies alone, and sit in the middle of the theater. I don't like to talk to people right after a movie. And NEVER speak to me during the film. | | Television | I watch it a little, in the evenings or weekends. I enjoy watching playoff sports, regular season stuff seems worthless. I like Laws and Orders, and any fishing show. I like movies on TV, but they are compromised to show there. Every once in a while I endulge and watch Project Runway or Flip This House together with Meghan. Been known to watch Flavor of Love, but season one was way better than season 2. | | Books | I don't read enough. But I have 4 books "going" right now that include: "Fiasco", "Guns, Germs and Steel", "Insight" by Bernard Lonergan, Meghan's Good Husband book and the "Alaska Atlas and Gazeteer" by Delorme. | | Heroes | I don't have a single hero. If I were to name one today it's my friend, Randy. He's been through some heavy, big boy stuff lately, and he's still doing the right things. |
