Since 2003 this unique iconoclastic duo works out its identity trough
the personalities of its two founders, quite different but
complementary artists, and explores all the possibilities created by
the mix of various sounds influences.
Fred handles the conception of musical movies, hybridizing in an
enthusiastic way experimental sounds and images. Its work, as
explorative research within the deep universe of multimedia, combines
Fred scenographer approach with its director skills and the musician
sensibility, in a complex and essential schizophrenic grub.
To this uncompromising swarming material Stephan brings the musical
universes and sounds machineries he designs, which illustrates quite
well its very particular interest for "noise". From the earliest
Techno scene to their recent performances within contemporary art
showrooms, Stephan's very special taste for electronic music, and
experimental sounds environments, positions him irremediably on the
edge between the glamorous glare of a disco facets ball and the
scratchy noise of an old transistor.
Vscore is used to set up lives performances with foreground artists
such as Amon Tobin, Neotropic, Jagga Jazzist, Sayag Jazz Machine,
Pirate TV… Their unique creative effervescence has been a trigger for
various alternative exploration of Art : from their work for theatre
with Coraline Lamaison for "Sarah Kane" (Théatre de la Digue); or the
musical soundtrack for Gweillo and Remington movies, to their
interactive installations and multimedia artwork born from the
collaboration with modern arts artists : Antoine Schmitt or Cédric
Leborgne, and galleries (BBB, Artothèque, TNT).

Après le concert remarqué de Kumi Solo, l’année dernière, dans le cadre du festival Empreintes Numériques déjà, Les Siestes Electroniques remettent le couvert et invitent O.Lamm et Domotic, pour un jam electro-pop des plus euphorisants. « Exercice surréaliste de collage transgenre », « assemblage en forme de missile techno pop dévastateur », tels sont les expressions qui caractérisent leur live … ce qui est sûr, c’est qu’il va falloir s’attendre à du grand spectacle : riff des Melvins rejoué sur une gameboy, hommage à Betty Davis, leçon de japonais déguisée en raillerie electro, reprise de Yellow Magic Orchestra … quelques moments plus doux, quelques moments plus durs, mais un bel événement à n’en pas douter.
